Ezeiza, committed to a sustainable environment.

Echeverria Youth Ezeiza, committed to a sustainable environment.

The Youth CTA Ezeiza Echeverría, participated with other organizations in mobilizing for the protection of Laguna de Rocha and the board of firms

Youth are mobilized along Echeverría Ezeiza other social and environmental organizations and residents on 24 November at the City of Echeverría demanding veto by the executive branch 989/CD/09 Municipal Ordinance issued by the local city council rezoned the parcels owned by the Laguna de Rocha and its environment. This ordinance allows the installation of industries and real estate development and danger of various sizes affects one of the few natural areas along the Laguna de Santa Catalina de Lomas de Zamora (the latter sold to Covelia by the University of La Plata), which are still standing with a biodiversity admirably despite the ravages of irresponsible accumulation and profit.
also to the lack of response from Esteban Echeverria Executive to veto the ordinance, we participated in the joint signatures and displays in public streets of the historical and natural beauty of Laguna de Rocha held this December 2 demanding the veto of the ordinance and claiming its transformation into Nature Reserve immediately.
Our
participation was and is motivated in our political and social commitment to a sustainable and healthy environment, as an inalienable right and WE ARE tod @ s s, inseparable from the right to education, employment, decent housing and health, without discrimination on respect for diversity. We are therefore actively involved in Ezeiza Echeverría Environment Forum (FAEE), along with other organizations such as Neighbors Atomic Center, Echeverría SUTEBA Ezeiza, Ezeiza CTA Echeverria, Ezeiza Pie Neighborhood, Neighbors Senior Autoconvocados Tristan Smith, a resident Cirocomi
