(Verona, 1927) Italian composer. He studied under I. Pizzetti. He has written plenty of music, especially for large orchestra, and has evolved from neoclassicism to twelve-tone. His creations include Background X (1980), Il sigaro di Armando (1982), In Oltre (1988), Settembre Musica (1990). In 1985 he was awarded the title Commandeur dans l'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres. In 1992 he organized a series of concerts in his honor as part of Milano Musica.
